In-Person Capacity Restrictions
Due to social distancing restrictions of Hyatt World Hotels, in-person attendance will be limited. In addition, some aspects of the conference (such as the conference lunch, which will be boxed rather than plated, and the opening and closing receptions) will look different as we adjust to social distancing and constantly evolving health and safety guidelines. To ensure as many school districts as possible are represented at the conference, registration is initially limited to two individuals per school district or organization. If your district is interested in sending more than two attendees, you can indicate so on the space provided in the registration. We will reach out in late August if seats become available or capacity restrictions loosen. Based on past NAFIS conference attendance, we anticipate that the two individuals per district limit will allow all school districts that want to send representatives to do so. However, we have to cut off registration once we reach the Hyatt attendance cap, so we encourage you to register as soon as possible to ensure your spots. In the event that capacity restrictions tighten and we have to roll back attendance, we will do so based on registration date and time.

September 2, 2021, Update: All school districts that indicated interest in sending more than two attendees to the conference have been contacted with instructions on registering them. Virtual Option
Because of the space limitations, we are also offering a virtual registration option that includes the livestream of the Sunday and Monday afternoon general sessions. There is no limit to the number of virtual attendees that your district can register. If you would like to participate virtually, register here.

Hill Meetings
At this point, we do not know if Hill meetings will be virtual, in person or a combination of both. The format will likely vary by congressional office. We will keep you updated as we learn more; however, if you have questions about specific offices, please reach out directly to your Members of Congress.

To Register
The primary NAFIS contact for each school district or organization has received an email from NAFIS Executive Director Hilary Goldmann with instructions on how to register. Note that only one person from each district received that email.

Hotel
Those coming to the event in person can make hotel reservations on the Hyatt Regency Capitol Hill website.
